Hey everyone,
Today I decided to do “20 Questions Tag” I found on Zezee with Books. Decided to try it out. It didn’t say who created this tag so a big shout out to whoever created this.
So here is the “20 Questions Tag”.
HOW MANY BOOKS IS TOO MANY BOOKS IN A SERIES?
I reckon any series over 10 books is too long unless it is a really greatly written series. Some series don’t feel long whereas others just feel too drawn out. I am looking at you “Skulduggery Pleasant” by Derek Landy. Should’ve ended with the original ending.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT CLIFFHANGERS?
I love cliffhangers. It makes me want to read more. It’s one of those tropes that I can’t help but admire.
HARDBACK OR PAPERBACK?
Paperback. I love me some kmart paperbacks. Hardcovers are just annoying to store.
FAVORITE BOOK?
Throne of Glass’ “Queen of Shadows”. Loved every moment of it. Couldn’t put it down. Reread a few times because it was just that good.

LEAST FAVORITE BOOK?
The most boring book in this world. Don’t understand how or why this was published. Had to read it for English Advanced Year 12 during highschool. Regret every moment spent with this book. It just is one of those books where you just go ‘Huh?’

LOVE TRIANGLES: YES OR NO?
Give me a saucy love triangle any day of the week. I love them except when they are written poorly.
THE MOST RECENT BOOK YOU JUST COULDN’T FINISH?
Definitely “Daisy Jones & the Six”. Loved how it was written and I just couldn’t stop reading. It really draws you in and then spits you back out.

A BOOK YOU’RE CURRENTLY READING?
“Glint” by Raven Kennedy. I really love this series so far as they are quick reads. Trigger warnings though, they aren’t meant for everyone.

THE LAST BOOK YOU RECOMMENDED TO SOMEONE?
I would recommend “Daisy Jones & and the Six” by Taylor Jenkins Reid. It’s a very easy read.

OLDEST BOOK YOU’VE READ BY PUBLICATION DATE?
Easy, that’s “Dracula” by Bram Stoker. I didn’t love it but it’s a good read for someone who is into classics.

NEWEST BOOK YOU’VE READ BY PUBLICATION DATE?
That’s “House of Earth and Blood” by Sarah J Maas. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It was a very quick read which lots of plot twists. I read this whilst I was in the hospital. Haven’t read its sequel yet.

FAVORITE AUTHOR?
Sarah J Maas. She’s just a fantastic writer. I just need to finish the last three books in the Throne of Glass series. Haven’t read her “A court of thorns and roses” series yet. Only finished the “Crescent City 1” and still need to read the second. Might do a reading blog when I get around to it. Favourite book of her was “Queen of Shadows”.

BUYING BOOKS OR BORROWING BOOKS?
Buying books. I love my bookshelf very much.
A BOOK THAT YOU DISLIKE THAT EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS TO LOVE?
I don’t have one to be honest. I really love the experience of reading books and there’s not many books I dislike or not recommend. I guess I need to start reading widely.
BOOKMARKS OR DOG-EARS?
Book marks obviously. I hate dog earing my books.
A BOOK YOU CAN ALWAYS REREAD?
“Throne of Glass” by Sarah J Maas. I just think it was a perfect introduction into the series. I must have reread this at least five times now.

CAN YOU READ WHILE HEARING MUSIC?
No, I can’t actually. I find it too distracting.
ONE OR MULTIPLE POVS?
Multiple POVs. Makes it very interesting.
DO YOU READ A BOOK IN ONE SITTING OR OVER MULTIPLE DAYS?
I used to be able to read a book in one sitting. Nowadays, it’s over multiple days. I just am really busy with uni work these days.
A BOOK YOU’VE READ BECAUSE OF THE COVER?
“A Good girl’s guide to murder” by Holly Jackson. I read it mainly because of the title and the cover. It just sounded so interesting that I had to try it. Glad I did too, very interesting read. Need to read the rest of the series.

ALL DONE AND DUSTED
Comment below your favourite book. I would love to see it.
Till next time…
-Jeanie
